Viva Wyndham Resorts offers low summer rates in DR
Santo Domingo.– Viva Wyndham Resorts, with five all-inclusive properties in this country, has summer rates as low as $72 per person per night, double occupancy.

Playa Dorada’s Hotel Paradise Beach Resort closes for renovation
Santo Domingo.- The hotel Paradise Beach Resort & Casino in Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata began an extensive renovation process of its facilities.
Antonio Herrera, vice president of sales and marketing for the chain Amhsa Marina Hotels & Resorts said the hotel will close its doors to the public for renovation from May 6.

Fernandez inaugurates works costing RD$567M in Puerto Plata
PUERTO PLATA.- President Leonel Fernandez headed ribbon-cuttings for several works in this province Thursday, built at a cost of RD$567 million, among them the remodeling of the San Felipe Cathedral and Plaza Independencia park.
